Do the house have a front and a back door? If that be the case then the pics can make sense – if not, not. That’s the front door in both screenshots. Maybe she just has a really amazing architect. Maybe so. I’m always amazed how stuff like that creep in, pass quality control and beta testers. Or maybe everybody did notice but nobody cared. The shots also reminds me of something I got hung up on with LoTRO: Lighting! If the pics where taken at the same time the position of the sun is wrong in the inside pic. Light should not be pouring in that window… I remember being in a cabin with a large fire in the hearth… It was all nicely done except that the fire did not light anything up, did not cast shadows and was not reflected at all. The whole thing makes me appreciate EQ2’s way of texture/lighting so much more. Enough nagging and nitpicking: How does the game stand up? Can we expect a mini-review soon(ish)? I’m sure someone noticed. They probably just figured the time it would take to fix it would be better spent elsewhere. I can understand that. For me, the game is almost exactly where it was a year ago. I didn’t get to see any of the new content, and my PC hasn’t changed, so it’s a nearly identical experience. I don’t think very many people who liked it before will hate it now, or vice versa. Like I said I did not like the way the cheated with T&L. I actually found the combat a little boring (can’t say why as it reminded me much of EQ2 which I do NOT find boring). I think the biggest reason I did not continue with it was the fact that not one of my friends played it. If that was the case I’d probably put some time into it. yer….whenever I play a new ALT I always notice this…its not even the number of windows that gets me….its the fact the house inside is the wrong way around….or is it the outside that’s wrong ? |
